Need some help regarding some rare drinks.

Hiya all, Right I know this a bit of a odd request but for xmas I'm looking for some drinks that we haven't tried.

I was wondering if anyone knows someone that deals with Wine Champaign lager that type of thing that could order or get some.

There's a Scottish drink I'd like too try its called VAT 69 a very rare drink and a lot of WW2 veterans had it, yes even my grand father had some.

he told me dad it was great and one of the best he had.

Would anyone else suggest any good drinks to try xmas?
I'm looking at different blends to try, we seem to keep sticking to what we know and well, we need a kick.

I don't mean getting bladded, well bit of that maybe.

I want to try something different and open to suggestions you have.

Can't help with whiskey as I've tried to drink it and it just makes me I'll.

I always liked a "Nelsons Blood" A very large measure of Port in a pint glass topped off with Guinness. It's very potent

Thank you very much you just made my evening even better, I we tried to get it around here but I can't get it and a lot of them have said its pretty rare.

But you found it and I thank you for that.

Vodka I do like very much and German Blonde beer too.

Nelsons Blood never had it before, what's the taste like?

NEWCASTLE BOMBER

one bottle Newcastle brown ale topped off with woods 100% rum

OR

STRETCHER CASE

Double Bacardi or Brandy
One small bottle fresh orange juice
One bottle Babycham
Dash of blackcurrant

SNAKE BITE

Get a pint Glass. Half a pint if 5% larger and topped with Cider 5% upwards. Add a dash of black current juice

You used to be buy it mixed in pubs back in my day but no longer allowed

If you like stouts/dark beers as I do, It tastes really good, the knack is to get the right measure of port to guinness ratio to your taste. not too strong with the port or not too weak.

Have about 6 bottles of this,then after 10 minutes hit yourself on the head with a sledge hammer to make the pain more bearable
