MG6 - Minimum £3k or 15,000 miles free fuel
As per an email I just received they are now offering all models of MG6 with a minimum £3,000 part exchange for your old car or 15,000 miles worth of free fuel.
Due to my extremely poor dealings with MG in Bradford I can understand why nobody is buying them. When I was going to test drive the GT TSE they were offering £2,000 against your old MG, only three months later they're offering an extra £1,000....against anything !!! Desperate. Yes. But do they care? No. |

The diesel that was promised in Q3 doesn't look to be anywhere close either.
Its not an ugly car, I do like it. Still think it looks like a Kia. Maybe with a diesel variant from the start they may have been more popular in the fleet market. |

I think it is OK as a car but there are lots of other OK cars at the same price, better established and with a better support network, MG need a car with more special appeal to break into the market but you have to admire them for hanging on in there until the newer models come on stream

I agree having a diesel version available from the start would of made it very popular, these Chinese my be cleaver but they seem to be lacking in common sense when it come to the European car market.

Sad fact is they are not as good as kia or hyundai co2 emissions are a joke and the general look of the interior is unexceptional. They need to launch a more up to date model and a diesel

which doesn't alter the fact that as a new car the current MG6 just doesn't cut the mustard the fact that kia and hyundai made rubbish isn the past isn't really relevant to the current market position. Cheap and cheerful secondhand might be a different prospec
