The car was originally owned by the sales manager of a local dealership ( and has been locally owned since), and at the time of ordering, every available option was specified.
Low mileage (27000) and full service history, with all receipts, including pollen filter and brake fluid change at the specified interval. new tyres all round at 20000 miles. plenum drains regularly checked. dodgy rear number plate light issue resolved.
first registered 27/11/2004 .
6 months tax.

now the real bits.

minor scuffs on a couple of alloys. have been touched up silver, but could do with a better job doing.

The car has had new immobiliser and satnav units under warranty due to leaks, these issues are now resolved.

single parpy horn fitted

radio doesnt work so good with the heated rear window switched on ( all connections good and tight !)

the car has had a towing bracket fitted ( in fact it hasnt been removed yet). fitted with the intention of caravan towing but due to other things the caravan hasnt been bought yet !!
I will be removing this ( that will give you a clue as to why Im selling the car) as the bracket and electrics were bought very cheaply off ebay, and I wouldnt be able to source them again at that price.

The car also has fitted a rover ron box, and the air intake mod ( not visible without removing the intake duct from the car.

Why am I selling ?
I went from a howling, firebreathing, tyre spinning, multiexhaust monogram chromactive ZS180 to a ZT as we need ( or will need) a bigger car to tow a caravan.
after coming very close to buy a 260, and common sense rather than desire winning the battle, a compromise was reached, and I chose the most ( and I still deep down believe to be the most) sensible option.
However common sense doesnt have me grinning from ear to ear every time I turn the key, and after 12 months of owning the ZT, price differentials are decreasing between the CDti and 260- so ****** it, Im going to make myself happy.

pics of the car are linked below

http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=2528

I also have other pics of the wheels etc.

Im looking for £10000.
Cant think of anything else, if anyone is interested get in touch, any inspection is welcomed.

cheers
steve

now for sale.

If I sell it on here, Ill include the FBH, if it goes on pistonheads or ebay Ill take the FBH off and sell it separately on here

if anyone wants the towing bracket leaving on, I will, but Ill want the price of a replacement bracket and electrics kit ( will save you some hassle).

the car can be viewed in chorley lancs, near M6 J28

Pardon my ignorance, but what is an FBH?

Also, how effective do you find the traction control?

Cheers,
Kearton

Fuel Burning Heater. a diesel option to preheat the engine coolant before starting.
Do a search for FBH for a more definitive answer.
