Default For all you Google Earth fans

Dunno about you, but sometimes I can't think of anything interesting to look at.

On the left, look for "File Downloads". When you've selected a category, browse away. If you see something you fancy, click "Get File" and save the KMZ file. It's only a few kbs. Double click it, and enjoy!

Try this

http://maps.google.com/

(note the .com - its important)

Once there, do a map search (copy & paste) for: Lombard St, San Francisco, CA, USA

One you see the little man icon, click on "street view" and the map will gain a blue outline. Double click a street (any one in blue) and you'll be shown a photo (yes, a photo!) of the street.

Click the full screen link to maximse the photo, then use your arrow keys on the keyboard.

Prepare to be TRUELY amazed

When they take the photo's for these panoramic views do they wait until the street is empty or do they take people and animals out by paintshop?
