Getting stick - whose right?
Rhetorical question because I'm not...
Anyway, after revamping the sitting room I'm putting back the CDs but a row has broken out over the order. Last timei didn't do the ordering and just found the missus way of stacking them confusing. So ignoring the the's ( but not the the ) here's an example of how I think it should go Amy winehouse is listed under A and not W As is Alanis Morrisette David Bowie however is stored under B. Nick Cave is under C. Eric Clapton is also under C. Syd Barrett is under S. Laurie Anderson gets put under A. Peter Murphy goes under P. These all make perfect sense to me but not to my missus. However, the bigger bone of contention is does Southern death cult get put with the cult or put under its own in S? |

All of mine are on a hard drive so no longer bothered how they are stacked. However I used to place them in alphabetical order via the Surname or title if a group.

Actually to be fair I'm not 100% certain of the logic myself. Seems obvious when I just do it but when I sit and think about it I kinda guess it could appear to some to be illogical. I dunno, maybe, just maybe my missus is right and it really is me that's doing it wrong |

Maybe but I'm not overly keen on clutter. I liked the music on them but not what they were stored on. Awkard clunky things really. I've done the same with the DVDs, got rid of 80% of them. Virtually everything is online now anyway. |
