Default Fuel Gauge and other electrical problems

I recently put £20 in my ZT-T now fuel gauge playing up keeps on rising/falling locked car unlocked/ passenger door didn't open interior lights not working any help appreciated

Is the ecu flooded? Worth trying a battery off re-set. Plenty of advice on here if you do a search.

Check the ecu mate, might have got washed.

It sounds suspiciously like a Kbus fault, just out of curiosity does the car have sat nav drive and tuner? if so have a look to see if there is water in the spare wheel well.

Similarly if the car has an aftermarket head unit fitted, it may be worth checking the switched and permanent +ve are not transposed, and also check the white and red wire with yellow flashes (K-Bus) wire is not connected to something it shouldn't.

Also if the car is wired for memory seats, make sure the wiring under the drivers seat specifically has not been trapped and damaged.

It can be a long and drawn out process to trace faults of this type, but hopefully this may point you in the right direction

Hi Thank you for your reply no it doesn't have sat nav drive or tuner someone in the past has fitted there own CD player also a Clifford alarm (not Working) there is water in the spare wheel well !

Hi I've just checked around the ECU and cabin filter everything is dry cleaned away leaves from drainage areas checked all drains are Clear thanks for all your help and advice Paul.
