Default IPK change

Gents, also got the IPK problem (but located in Austria and daily driver cars - so no change to send it to klarzy-dials for reapir....

Able to buy a full speedo (with working display) - originally from a rhd car and miles

can I use this speedo - just change the eeprom and it will work? or do I need a T4 sessiontoo?

THANKS
