Wiring for Hizpo 2 din radio
Bought a 2 din radio branded Hizpo for my diesel.
Pretty cheap and really good for the money. The unit I got was listed as for an E49 Bmw but fitted well once you remove the two extra nylon mounting tags. Only issue is very little in the way of wiring instructions apart from the one on the top of the unit outlining what the units 20 pin plug goes to. Decided to make a wiring loom to fit the two Rover 75 ISO plugs and wired really well. Following are wiring pins for the iso plugs The brown Rover iso plug is all for the speakers. ISO pin 1 to +rr pin 3 +rf. pin5 +lf. pin 7 +lr pin 2. -rr. pin 4. -rf. pin6 -lf. pin 8 -lr The black iso plugs is for power etc ISO Pins 1,2 and 3 are not connected Pin 4 - Acc power (red wire) Pin 5- antena (blue wire - connect to blue wire on unit) Pin 6 - illumination (orange wire on unit) Pin 7- Battery voltage (yellow wire on unit) Pin 8- earth ground. Steering wheel controls Brown wire on unit marked Key 1 wire to Rover blue / purple wire. Wire the other Rover steering control wire (blue/orange) to pin 8 ( earth) on the unit. Hope this may help some one if they buy the same unit. The code to access the boot up logo is 8888. Gives you access to a number of brand logos including MG or Roewe unfortunately no Rover logo. Trying to figure out if we can add a Rover logo to the nenu Last edited by genpk; 18th March 2018 at 05:42.. |

Just loaded a custom Rover walllaper onto the screen.
All you need is a 800 x 480 JPEG picture on a SD card. Remove the GPS sd card, put the sd card with the Rover picture in the GPS slot, go to settings, wallpaper, press update, switch the unit off, back on and it’s done. Picture file had to be in JPEG format. |

Cost me about $260 Aud , free postage.
Has just about everything, Bluetooth with phone book , DVD , CD player. steering controls , IPOD connection, gps navigation (comes with a igo9 sd card) auto tune radio , rear and front cameras Thus far been impressed with the radio signal clarity, great sound system . Only issue I’ve had so far is when ejecting Cd’s it takes a couple of button presses sometimes but I rarely use CDs anymore and have about 700 songs on the music sd card . You can add tv etc if you buy the tuner and aerials etc. Trying to figure out if the can bus box they sent does anything else as everything seems to be working fine with it not connected. |

If it's Android based you can use a CANBUS reader to run the Torque App.
Also tyre pressure monitors and even heads up displays. Sounds like a great price. Do you have a link?

No worries. That's enough to sort it. Thanks for that
If you haven't used the Torque App I can't recommend it enough. Check it out if you have an hour or two spare. Well worth your time.
