Default South Wales Second Meeting 07/03/10.

Please be aware this is not an official 75 & ZT Owners Club meet and as such is not covered by the clubs public liability insurance.
Also the owners club take no responsibility for the meet in any way.

Our second meeting will be held at Kenfig Nature Reserve on Sunday 7th March 2010 @ 11:00 am

Sunday lunch available at The Angel Inn Pub Mawdlam (2 minutes from the reserve by car) @ 2:00 pm.
2 courses £8.95 / 3 courses £9.95 each.

I believe last years get together at St. Fagan's was a success and hopefully we can build on that so why not have lunch too this year. The warden at Kenfig is more than happy to accomodate us in the large car park which will give us a nice backdrop for photos. If we could please just pay £2.00 per car then we can offer a donation for use of their facilities. The reserve is huge so any kids and dogs can run around freely. Kenfig pool is 5 minutes walk from the carpark and Sker beach is probably just 15 minutes walk (very nice beach can only get there by foot).

All are of course welcome, new faces and old. For those who have not been to a meeting before well the object of the exercise is to meet fellow members and enthusiasts, drool over these wonderful 75's & ZT's and gain a wealth of knowledge from those members with the technical know how plus 'pinch' mod and upgrade ideas.

If you want to join us please let me know with the total number coming with you. Also for lunch let me know numbers and I'll organise that with the pub (pay them direct on the day).

Let's hope the weather is kind or we will all be in the pub that bit earlier

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS FIRST POST WILL BE THE ONE THAT IS UPDATED AS THINGS CHANGE SO LOOK BACK HERE

I was thinking first weekend in March (hopefully weather be kind) and maybe at Kenfig Nature Reserve near Porthcawl. They have a large car park and stunning scenery also a 10 minute walk from the lovely Sker beach and Kenfig Pool. There are 2 pubs close by too, the Angel Inn at Mawdlam and the haunted Prince of Kenfig. Possibly Sunday lunch?

Maybe someone has a better location in mind!

I'm happy to speak with the warden at Kenfig to see if we can meet, I'm sure a small donation will sway things and organise lunches.

What you reckon ?

OK sounds like a goer. Tomorrow I'll tidy the thread up and put up the not official meet statement (doing this from my mobile not so easy). I'll speak to Kenfig Nature reserve and start compiling a list. Do you want me to book the Angel for Sunday lunch?

Please note any names and meals etc I will keep the very first post updated so please check back there.

Will get back to you in the week with times any cost to use the Kenfig carpark and if you want the meal will speak to pub.
