Question Is My Volvo Too Expensive?????

Or have I just picked the wrong week?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ZsearchQQfviZ1
Surely it must be worth more than a grand but not a sniff yet, my 240 went on the second night & it wasn't half the car

Yep, must be wrong week. The 940 is the best model Volvo have made. Last real Volvo. That´s a nice car you have, all the right bits and an estate. Absolutly not too much. Mind you they are a bit thirsty.... in these days of -depression- Alan

I agree Alan they are superb cars which as you already know was the reason for my hesitance at buying a 75/ZT & you're dead right about their drink problem which is the main reason for replacing it even the 2.5 V6 75s are better on the juice

And it all started with this. My 144 from 1967. It´s done 45 thousand miles now. The pic is from an expo for camping, caravans etc. The car, Viola called, is -bedded down. and has her -car tent- on. All the stuff is from the end of the 60´s Alan

Lovely cars, I had a 740 for 9 years, I then upgraded to a 960 Exec, now that realy did have a drink problem. I spent the first couple of months looking for petrol leak.

Good luck with the sale.

Stop it Alan you know I go weak at the knees at the sight of a 140 series

960s were gorgeous I knew someone who had a V90 which was basically a very late very high spec 960 estate but rare as hens teeth

Its just selling old cars is hard work, although the Volvo should be easier than our nice old Porsche 944 auto , still no sale after 4 months, be needing another MOT soon .. .
