Cool We got a wave…………….

……………………….. and a thumbs up from the front seat passenger in a Police Car on the A38 this evening. I flashed my lights to say thank you, and they responded with a flash of the blues.

I remember in my (much) younger and dafter biking days (early '80s) I was heading home after a quick blast along the coast road down to North Berwick, I came up behind a single crewed Police car. I noticed the guy glancing at me in the mirror several times . . . . then he took off . . . . I took off after him! I stuck to the back of him (at illegal speeds!) for several miles along the twisty road, I wasn't stupid enough to try to pass him As we approached a junction he slowed and indicated to turn off to the left giving me a wave as he did. I presume it was a welcome distraction during a boring shift

their not all good I past an off duty copper on my bike a few weeks ago, it was a totally safe overtake but I caught the last few feet of double solid white lines, he caught it on his dashcam and reported me, just waiting for my punishment he even said in his report it was a safe overtake.

I don't think The Enterprise had them. Maybe in later episodes when the "ship" had had a refit or two.

That copper wants to come over to Essendon (Herts) where we have a 400 yard Snake that is double white. At the very start of it the cycling lot need to have just started the hill climb. Bliss!
