Default iSymDVR 2 dash cam app

Downloaded and installed iSymDVR 2 dash cam app for iPhone. First impressions are good it has lots of info that can be turned on and off all are activated in the below video except for sound (saving you from the wife's out of tune singing). It has power saving features after a set amount of time the screen can dim or even go blank to stop the screen from over heating.

Video quality can be set from 480p up to 1080p at different frame rates.

Other features include the ability to have an alarm go off when you reach a set speed 4 settings total (I set these to 30, 40, 60 and 70) this can be changes when in car mode. A g sensor can be set so that in the event of sudden braking, acceleration or crash it automatically save the current video.

Car mode shows a speedo which can be set to MPH or Km/h a compas and trip info.

Not a bad app but the image stabilisation is not up to scratch and you would need a very sturdy mount to keep it from wobbling as much. I would recommend on buying a very long iPhone charging wire as after just 10 mins of use the battery went from 100% to 20% (even with the built in power saving modes)

This app has a lot more features than any other app, nearly all don't have a power saving mode or auto screen dim.
