Instrument Pack for Australia
Hello John,
My “spare” Instrument pack [calibrated for kilometres and Amber dials] records part number YAC112361. This P/N includes the message centre as well as the trip computer. The VDO units were manufactured in the U.K. I seems that Rimmer Bros now delete all reference to parts as they become “NLA”. I was informed recently that there was “no such part”, even though I still had an earlier purchase order for the part that I was seeking. Wish one could purchase a CD listing all the original MG Rover parts. Regards, egremont. |

In a rather stupid move I took my microfiche reader to the tip as I hadn’t used it for many years, and had last used back in my SD1 days. No-one in the local club wanted it even for free, I instead used the Rimmer’s website which HAD all the information I thought I would ever need - and then, as we know, they changed things - I haven’t checked the Rave disc, perhaps there’s a detailed list there. Or maybe I’ll just have to find another microfiche reader.

You would think being 1999 onwards, there would have been electronic documentation for all spare parts.

Hi - so is that online system available somewhere for we normal people? And/or are there CD versions around that are accessible?
