Autobots solenoid change.
I am about to in the near future, replace the 2/4 duty solenoid. On my 2003 cdti. I have read the how to and see that Matt removed the the large pipe to the egr. This l replaced last year and had to remove the front bumper to do so. I was wonderingly if anyone had done the solenoid change without removing this pipe? I see this how to by Matt is a few years old, and l am sure lots of you have done the job, and any tips would be welcome. Cheers Ray.

You can do it without removing the pipe but access is very tight, you should be able to remove the pipe without disturbing the bumper.
