Paint types and layers
I have been treating some light corrosion in my rear wheel arches, and have so far applied some rust convertor(the type that turns any rust spots to a hard black shiny surface)
My question is what should i do next? I have some zinc rich primer I have POR15 I have dinitrol underbody hardwax Does POR need a primer as the tin suggests not, and should I apply a zinc primer over the rust convertor? Basic stuff For some I am sure, but chemistry was never one of my strong points. |

Never useddinitrol or por15, but would use a zinc primer on the converted rust or Waxoyle instead of the zinc.

POR 15 over the rust convertor. When that is fully dry, spray the Dinitrol wax over it!
Tom.
