Guess how this happened?
The truck didn't brake hard at the junction The car driver did not misjudge the distance So how did this strange thing happen?

I don't follow, the story says:
"A driver had a lucky escape when the car he was reversing on to a transporter fell off the end. " then goes on to say "The drama happened at 9.45am, as the vehicle was being winched on to the lorry, while the driver steered. " so hoe did the car fall off? macafee2 |

Pondered that too, could it be the winch cable runs around a pulley system on top deck underside (powered from winch on lower deck) and hooks onto towing eye of car, the cable then run too far and vehicle over runs top deck limits?
Perhaps some body with hands on experience of these things can explain?
