never tried it, was tempted apart from all the "its a waste" people who have never tried it.

Depends on whether you're willing to spend £5 and find it to be completely useless. Never know what could happen.

I'm agree and think that a cheap magnet strapped to a fuel line isn't going to do squat for better performance or gas savings, but maybe anyone tried it

It REALLY works.

I can't believe all you people huffing and puffing and letting dumb old science get in the way of a magical new device (Mercedes invented it don't you know but they have never put it in to production as that would be a bit of a downer for the other car manufacturers). I've tried it and my car has gone from a lowly 25 mpg to an incredible 25 mpg, and I now find I can go just as far as I used to before I put it in, even though I'm lugging around all that extra metal. Shame on you all for being so blinkered.

Any whoo I'm of to patent my new perpetual engine device, so yar boo sucks...

Couldn't access the ebay address, but if you are talking about magnetic blocks strapped to the fuel line, you can buy mine! They made absolutely no difference that I could tell. (I didn't pay for them, tested them for a magazine) Nice idea but...no.

This is one of those things where the principle is sound but it doesn't work in practice. The molecules are vibrating at a very high rate and whilst the magnet may line them up, they would jumble up straight after leaving the magnetic field. So they would be in the same state as when they went into the field.
My favorite commonly held myths are that water circles down a plughole in different directions depending on whether you are above or below the equator, and that airplanes fly because of low pressure generated by air passing over the wing. Both are accepted scientific principles, Coriolis and Bernoulli, but neither work in practice.

Actually they both work in practice, but one is far too slight to lift a plane and the other only works on very large objects such as a hurricane.
