Default damaged old photo restored

I was given an old photo of my mum, taken some time in the 50's, the pic was damaged on all corners by severe creasing.
i have managed to restor the pic, better tan i thought i could, waddya think.

i had to take parts of the carpets, doors etc and replace them with other bits from the same area. took about 40 mins to do
all in microsofts dainty little Paint program

Still don't know...lmso. Seems a bit complicated to me... What do you mean by took bits.... You mean have so many copies on the comp and use them for cropping.? Poppy

not bad at all. What software are you using? If photoshop you could try some clone stamping which would tidy up all those dust spec (quite a labouring task though). Could also try burning and dodging to help with the grainy contrast.

just using MS Paint, i dont have any other software for it

no not paint.net, simple paint that comes with you windows OS
