Unhappy Help Burst hose

On driving into my garage just now steam started coming out from under the bonnet i switched the engine off immediatley,on looking under the bonnet i noticed water leaking out of the top hose.It is coming from where the top hose is held on to the T piece by a jubilee clip as though the clip has cut through the hose is there anything i can do as a temporay repair? And can i get a new hose from any motor factors or is it a rover only part?

Thread title amended to reflect OP's post.

Can I presume that you have a 1.8 petrol?

It would be helpful if you amended your "avatar" to reflect the type of engine that you have, as this would assist viewers to determine whether they can answer your query.

You may be able to cut a bit off the pipe and still get it back on as a temp measure..

Most motor factors should stock them..

It is most likely not the hose per se, but the inferior piece of plastic.
Look up Gerry T-piece and install a metal ditto.
Don't even think of putting the plastic original back.
