Advice on putting photos in folders.
I am trying to organise my photos into folders. I have a Lenovo lap top and I have made up some folders of various subjects. I have transferred a selection of photos ok, but have found many more photos under the collection heading. The problem is when I copy and paste photo from collection to folder I find there another copy of photo in collection. That problem is ok as I just delete 1 copy, but as I don't need a copy in collection and folder I tried to delete both then found copy in folder is also deleted. Is it possible to keep photo in folder and not have a copy in collection. As I think all these copies would use up memory space. Sorry for long winded question but I am not very conversant on computers. Any help would be appreciated.

Drag and Drop instead of copy/paste into the new folder then you will have only the one copy.
