Surrey mini-meet-August 30th, 7:30 ish?
As suggested in my previous postings, a mini-meet, just to see how many MG/R75 owners are in the locality.
So far about 5 of us, but could do with more, just to get together, find out who's is who's, swap stories, etc. No frills, no graces, just a few people sharing a common interest. Venue: Marquis of Granby Pub, Portsmouth Rd, Esher, Surrey, KT10 9AL Map: http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=514896&y=165660&z=0&ar=Y Date/Time: 30th August, 2007, 19:30 hrs on. Dress code: come as you like!! I'll be the one with the Gold R75 CDT Connosieur Tourer, registration ending in MAW (if it comes back from th ebodyshop in time!!) |

Sounds good.
Meet you there, assuming my recently re-belted and re-gasketed V6 Conn Tourer makes it Scotland and back over te next week. It's been running so sweet for 300 miles or so since Thursday, I just hope it doesn't disapoint me. John |

I'm hopeful I can be with you guys - will confirm early next week.
Just a thought - how do we recognise eachother in the pub - other than the smug look we have of owning the best looking vehicle on the roads? Red carnations in the lapels are a bit 'yesterday' - can I suggest we have a Club Flyer or two with us and wave these at people until we can gather up? Either than or we drink in our cars! Steve |

Or we could list our mobile numbers here, ring them in the pub and see who answers (damn your a fine looking blonde buxom thing Steve!!)
Hmm, maybe that won't work then. OK how about we meet on the tables and chairs on the front area, with as you suggest, some printed flyers to hand? |

Sorry to but in.
Please don't post your phone numbers in this open and public forum. That's what PM and email is for. |

GG, that was meant to be a joke!! I wouldn't think of putting my number on here as I already get plenty of crank calls.

I even have a ready to go copy and paste warning for when they do get removed. D Edit by GG. This is an open public forum, we have no way of knowing who is reading it so posting your private phone number is a serious security risk for you. If this is a number you don't mind sharing with thousands of others then please edit this post and reinstate it. Otherwise please use the internal PM or E-Mail system. Sorry for the inconvenience. Again, apologies for interrupting your thread. Have a good meet, If I were still based in London I would have made an attempt to join you. |

Chaps,
I'll be there at 7.30 with my ZT-T, as on the avatar picture, to your left! Looks like we've got three tourers so far.... anyone else willing and able to join us tomorrow evening? Steve |
