Difficulty Starting - 75 Club 1.8 petrol
I am having difficulty starting from cold. it takes me several goes before it starts eventually. is this related to fuel pump relay and if it is where do I find it. In the glove box I can see 4 relays which are identical with a green stripe on them. it is 2003 model.

I have moved your post into it's own brand new thread to help attract attention as the cause of your problems may not be related to the subject of the thread in which you first posted. This new thread will help give you better coverage. |

It does sound like a fuel issue to me. When you turn on the ignition (not the starter), you should be able to hear the pump running under the offside rear passenger seat. It should run for about 4 seconds then stop. If that sounds OK, you may have the beginning of the fuel filter syndrome, to which all petrol models are succeptible. There are no doubt other possiblities, but the slack filter is a classic non-start problem.
