Rob, your picture really shows the Vortex alloys on the launch 75 V8.

They were especially made for the car and are 19" Vortex. They were found to be too large and fouled the wheel arch liners, needles to say they were not offered on the production models.

The same 75 V8 in Monogram Chatsworth was introduced at the 2004 Geneva Motor show. After the show it was sold to one of our members in Lithuania and has since been sold on.

Here is the 75 V8 at Geneva

Another interesting picture, look closely at the CL/Hazard switch ring in black. This is typical Pre Production.

The car appears to be in neutral, but the revs show on the rev counter..

Nice pictures indeed, just a shame the damage was done by the time the 75 arrived.A fitting reminder of what could have been.

The fuel gauge registers zero and the cars got a rain sensor, which was not introduced for a further couple of years.. Great picture though.

Even more unusual is the Rover badge on the Hi Line headunit.

Another odd bit about the picture, it show the 75 with the Rain Sensor. Something that was not offered as an option until after the move to Longbridge.

The rear seat in this Limo is odd again. The seats are typical of the early Longbridge era, single piped. The pull down strap on the rear arm rest is of the Cowley vintage.
