Nice early 75 with Aubergine interior for sale
I saw this rather nice looking 75 for sale this morning
https://www.carandclassic.com/l/C1733651 As nice as it is though, I'm not about the £6.5k asking price. I'm especially not sure about the £130 "admin fee" from a supposed private seller.

Hi Matt. I have to agree knock £5000 off and it maybe worth it, at a stretch £2000 but there is always someone whom might pay it

Looks good, and the interior is exceptional, but this is not a "private seller". The written description talks about "we" and the pictures show a number of other cars as well. Price seems about twice what the majority in this condition fetch.

Hi,you would also have to budget in a fair amount as I think the sills will need urgent replacement.

Although the seller's listing header states "Private Seller", the basis on which they are selling the car is made very clear in the listing. It states " We specialise in sourcing the very best MK1 Rover 75 vehicles available. Please ask to see our portfolio, displaying the plethora of Rover 75s, we have sourced and repatriated". It doesn't seem that the seller is trying to decieve.
It appears that some may be missing and longing for the old facility allowing comments on "for sale" listings and their pricing!

Low miler 2.5 v6's are pulling decent money at auctions such as Mathewsons aka Bangers and Cash .

It had an MoT failure two years ago for corrosion.
These advisories were from last year's MoT:- Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories): Nearside Front Integral body structure is corroded but structural rigidity is not significantly reduced (6.1.1 (c) (i)) Offside Front Integral body structure is corroded but structural rigidity is not significantly reduced (6.1.1 (c) (i)) |

That, in my view, might just be contravening the Trades Description laws. The wilful lack of admission of previous (and possibly current) owners seems at odds.
Apparently a nice car but the reports indicate what just eventually might turn out to be be a costly buy. It also has, for me, a wide berth. On the other hand, it is, of course, a trade adv.
