Default Spacing please (Gap)

Hello Folks, Bit of an issue due to a minor accident, had to replace N/S wing and bonnet, would ask for help on providing me the correct clearance between wing and bonnet, along with front of bonnet to top of front grill (Centre point)

One other issue damage to N/S sill, has any one any advise on how or if you can gain access from the inside in order to beat out, or does one have to spot weld and pull from the outside, if this is the case is there any wiring near the sill (internal)

Many thanks in advance MR G

On mine, undamaged, the clearance between the bonnet and wing each side is 4mm.

The front of the bonnet down to the grill is much larger at 10mm.

I have read complaints by users on the forum that this is rather large but I do think it is the norm.

Don't think you can get into the sill.

Normally I think a hole is drilled and a bent piece of steel inserted to pull out the dent from the inside. The hole is then subsequently filled.

That's the way it was described to me. They attach pulling pins and pull the dents out. Then cut them off and grind the surface true. There are no cables going through the sill.

Hiya.
I think you should forget about Actual measurements, But can be used as a guide, If it looks right it probably is,
The side gaps should look the same and the bulkhead gap should be even along the width.
The gap at the front slam panel is governed by the height of the wings, as it should be level with the bodywork on the three other sides,,
Measurements aren't much good as they will not be exactly the same on every car, only there abouts, especially when replacement wings etc have been fitted. ( they never go back in exactly the same place and can be a couple of mm out )
Good luck with the job,!!!
