Default ZT Poor Ride Quality

Hi,

Im hoping someone can point me in the right direction. The ride quality of my ZT is getting worse, you can feel every bump in the road, I know they are supposed to be quite hard riding but this is somethng else, also when you turn the steering wheel there is a creaking noice (more noticible at low speeds). The car has covered 103,000 miles

Im assuming that this is suspension related but have not got a clue as to which bush/joint/spring/mount would be causing this

Any help appreciated

Justin

Check your springs - I recently had one snap. Also check your dampers.

If you're getting a creak/clunk at low speeds, and it's more noticeable when turning a corner, then have a look at the lower engine mount aka pendulum mount.

Low speed turning will be top mount bearings, low mount will be almost certainly be worn

At that sort of mileage, it's probably the shocks that are tired.
