What, the poor car
Well with this sort of thing happening there is no wonder the Rover 75 suffers in price, I mean look at this the guy has a 54 plate 75 and yet he is scrapping it, when asked whats wrong he says 'Nothing' ??
not sure if the following link will work: https://www.facebook.com/groups/4278...53660654400897 and this is a Facebook group called Rover 75 addicts..... the guy that is scrapping it, describes it as 'well that's one less on the road' as if an achievement Words suitably for posting fail me

I must admit being a Facebook user (great for keeping in touch with family and friends around the world) that I have joined a few 75 and ZT groups...to be honest being Facebook the members of the group seem to be a mixed bag of just car owners who couldn't give a toss about 75s & ZTs to highly enthusiastic and passionate owners (a lot are members here too).
The best group by far is the Rover 75/MG ZT Help Group which is made up of I would say at least 95% genuine enthusiasts and the admin team are a great bunch. Unfortunately with Facebook being so popular we get to come across non enthusiasts who own 75s & ZTs who have closed minds to what they actually own and treat them just like an old cheap car worthy of nothing more than a few hundred mile stop gap until their next car. Please don't assume all Facebook users are of the same ilk or associate all group members as non enthusiast owners.

ENDED UP REALISING IT REALLY ISN'T PRACTICAL NOT HAVING A CAR TO GET AROUND AND I NOW OWN A VW EOS 3.2 V6 INDIVIDUAL (1 OF 20 REMAINING IN THE UK WITH THAT ENGINE AND TRIM COMBO) EVEN THOUGH I STILL LIVE ON A BUSY ROAD WITHOUT A DRIVE |

As someone who's needlessly banned from every facebook group relating to 75s, I can't see it, nor do I have any interest. His car, his choice, alas. Sometimes it's best not to know what goes on, as there's nothing we can do to stop it anyway.
