It has a nice lens (Sonnar design, a bit of a cult) and it's very pocketable and quite nicely made. I had one for a while a few years back, if I'd known how much they (and anything photographic) go for since 2008-2009, I would have hung on to it!
Apart from that, it is the internet. It just takes a few people to start ranting about how good something is before it spreads. People need something to get excited about ;-) |

How would you rate the picture quality?
I have looked at a few reviews and they rave about them. |

I bought a film last week for one of my old film cameras for my son to try. Digital can become 'shoot loads and you will get one shot' I want my son to experiance the 'wait' whilst they are being developed

I remember the days well,
Having to think what pictures you are going to take before loading up the correct film for the chosen subject. I used to love Fuji Reala ( think that was how it was spelt ) and Ilford film for b&w stuff. Always made you think before you shot with only 24 or 36 exposures. Used to do a lot of bracketing in them days. Don't miss it for Motorsport photography though. Used to carry 2 bodies loaded up or you didn't stand a chance. I used to use Pentax cameras back in film days mainly my Pentax Z1 'Twas a great camera.

I will stick to my digital images, even images I take on my iPhone are acceptable when I put them through Photobucket.
The T2 is the choice of my daughter, she is in fashion and design and the image quality and the usability of the T2 she says is the best in the class. The pictures she takes of her designs make it to fashion magazines and editors seem to prefer the images on film. |

Hi Paul,
Is your Daughter the Tog (photographer) or does she use the camera as part of her job? If she is doing studio work I would have thought she would be using Medium format or full frame cameras as well, Hasselblads, Mamiyas, that sort of thing. Great results from them but not the easiest things to use!
