Default First time trying studio portraiture

A couple from my first go,

I'll add some more once I've finished processing them

I agree with you Paul,

Think I applied too much vignette to the second one.

Nothing a bit more editing can't fix

I'm not too keen on the vignetting as it draws your eye towards it. Nice and sharp though, did you take any with a light background? I love studio shooting but only had the chance a couple of times

I did of the male model but that was using flash studio lights and it didn't work out well as everyone was trying to shoot at the same time so things were either under or overexposed most of the time

I'll post some up shortly

I like the vignetting in that sort of portrait shot although I did over do it on the second one

Very nice Jeff. Another vote for the first one from me. It looks a tad sharper and you nailed focus on her left eye.

Just to be different, I prefer the second one. They're both great, but the second one has a "period" feel to it that puts me in mind of the studio photos from the early days of Hollywood.

Great work as always Jeff.

I'm reliably informed it's called Steam Punk, a cross between gothic and Victorian science fiction genres
