5 years ago today I paid in full for my first house.
On this day in 2022 I sold Pooky Bear, MG ZTT V8 400. Wonder where it is now as it was up For Sale a few months back.
On this day in 2019 I sold Redfive to Rick Bhullar and he still owns the car.

Amazing Bob to think these events happened on the same day. Even more amazing to realize just over 5 years ago got the rover and joined the club. So much happened since then, the awful being covid and loss of much missed Peter. The good being meeting so many great people through the club and the huge pleasure of owning the car, which would not have been possible without the support of so many members.
It's passed in a flash. Tempus fugit.

There is a few more memories linked to this day as well. My “passenger “ that sits in the Banana, Bertie, was given to me on this day by Allen and Val. I know there is another memory for this day but I can’t remember.

I too miss Peter and his stories of the boot fairs he attended before the breakfast meets.
Hopefully I will be able to attend another meet with you in attendance.
