Just a quick thankyou to MIKE ( backbencher ) I have just carried out your fix to the retaining pins of my rear screen . It took no more than 45 mins to do . I left it for 24 hrs as suggested and BINGO no leak .

What is this? I have a boot leak but it is not the screen or at least I think not (rear breathers under the bumper possibly) but would like to eliminate.

Probably easier to eliminate the rest first - light gaskets, trim clips and side vents. I did these first (all were leaking originally) and thankfully didn't need to go into the screen.
