Default Project 190 - idle issue

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this please.

My project 190 is currently undergoing a rear suspension refurb, but I obviously keep the battery charged, and run her up to temperature, taking the revs up to keep things happy.

On returning to idle, the revs ' bounce' as if she's going to stall, but trying not to, for about 5-10 seconds. It only seems to happen when I blip the throttle. Taking the revs up, and then gently returning to idle seems ok. Does this sound like an air leek issue, or does anyone have any other ideas please.

Hi Ben,

My V6 exhibits this hunting idle syndrome periodically, yet we seem to be in the minority. I think it was PhilT4 who suggested that it was a sign of a less than fully charged battery, but sadly tests have ruled that out in my case. I have dismantled and cleaned my idle control valve with no long term improvement. On the list is to fit the repair kit but I haven't got round to it yet.

Sticky AICV ? not responding quickly to catch the idle when throttle butterfly is closed.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I'll swap the idle control valve and see about air leaks and report back.
