Default I have a happy car since....

Don't get me wrong My car was never miserable but since my service by Trikey it really is far more responsive.

The service did include 6 new plugs and he did change all filters so I am wondering would new plugs and especially the air filter result in the improved driving experience I now have?

I only have to caress the throttle pedal and wow! I'm so glad I had it done.

It certainly does make a difference having a proper service, Harry. I recently gave Julie's Aygo a full service including plugs and it transformed the car, much more responsive than before.

I never really notice any difference with the ZTT but it does get serviced religiously every year, if not twice a year so, I'd like to think it's always running as MG Rover intended

Makes the job even more worthwhile if you can tell a difference.

Yes Paul, my old plugs were the OEM plugs fitted at 36K by Rover and I now have 83K on the clock, so I suspect they were nearing the end of their life. The difference is very noticeable , certainly.

If the plugs and filters haven't been done for a while, it can be quite amazing what a difference it makes when they are changed.

It is good to hear that you are very happy with the resuts and the car is responding so well now Harry. Great stuff.

It looks like you have a touch of Rover Euphoria now!

Cheers Jim, Yes I'm still like a dog with two tails as far as my Rover is concerned.
The filters have been changed to service schedule and looked in decent order when removed, but as the car hasn't done much mileage the plugs have not been changed. One this for certain, they will be changed in ample time from now on.
