ZT 1.8t air flow meter
Hi, my 160 is running a little 'lumpy', with revs at idle searching in and around 750 to 900 plus up to 4500 rpm its great but then teeters off, feeling like its struggling. I had a similar experience with a much cherished Alfa 156 2.0TS. I replaced the MAF and it ironed out all the problems. Ive checked the hoses from the turbo and everything is connected, however the large top hose loses rigidity once hot. Im thinking this may also be detrimental to performance (collapsing under heavy acceleration?). The car is a 2004 facelift and all standard. Ive looked under the bonnet and was hoping to find an easily recognisable MAF (Alfas MAF similar to CDTI) however the 1.8t is obviously different and i'd appreciate any help on the matter. I've tried googling but everything tends to be regarding the CDTI MAF. Thanks in advance
