We all ignore inadvertant humour sometimes.
I have great respect for the club member who posted this but sometimes I think, re-reading a post before posting might avoid misinterpretation.
So here goes, he could have chosen a better opening line but who knows, it might have been a deliberate eye catcher. "Well had cause to seek help today in the form of getting someone in to look at the bodywork on the wife's little MG F" |

Nah I cannot see a problem in that either, and I've got a pretty dirty imagination

I certainly do not see what is wrong with this !! It was my post that this refers to, and the post refers to getting someone in to look at the bodywork as there were dents.... it goes on to explain that the work was carried out and at a reasonable price, the details of the guy used were passed on to members
Now please explain what is wrong with the post !!

All I can think of, despite ''having great respect'' for the subject of the post, the poster was alluding to the lady in question in a sexual way - hardly respectful in my opinion.

If it was meant to be titillating - fail
If it was meant to be funny - fail If it was meant to be innuendo - fail (unless a personal reference that only the OP and his missus understand) If it was meant to say that his wife's MG-F needed body attention - ok so what's the fuss again??

I think the fuss was due to the comments the OP made about the subject's wife, which were highly suggestive and of a private, sexual nature.
