Not me. Only use rainwater for the garden. There is a huge water butt in the back garden.

Don't use any water. Waterless is the way to go.

A lot of detailers recommend using a "Di vessel" to de-ionise your tap water ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pressure-Re...NsaWNrPXRydWU= )
They connect to your hose or pressure washer and supposedly eliminate water spots entirely, meaning the car can be left to dry on its own if necessary. Never tried one myself, but I've often thought about it Cliff

Banana has ceramic coating so I don’t have to shampoo every time, just plain water and a decent mitt, then just rinse then towel dry. Never get any water stains. I would have thought if you use rain water from a water butt you have to make sure that there was no unwanted debris in the water.

Only ever use rain water, our tap water is really hard and leaves lots of marks unless you dry it immediately 😎
