Bushes in front, instead of a junction and cars?

Nice handbrake handle is it oem or the mini one? Been thinking about retro fitting the mini one but not sure if it looks right.

Oem would be nice but out of my price range I'm afraid. It's a Mini one kindly donated by lovema75 (thanks again David). I think it looks fine. Can be a bit of a fiddle modding it to fit. Being resin it is very brittle, so easily damaged. You need to bore it out a bit. I asked last week how others had done it, but got no replies. Forget a file - useless! I did this to a quarter inch drill bit -

I wrapped the end with two or three turns of automotive double sided adhesive tape and then put some course (40 grit) aluminium oxide paper onto that. Be careful, it really does shift some resin. Perhaps a finer grade might be better. If you do make it a bit too large (like wot I did!), a few turns of insulating tape round the lever will sort it.

Chad.
