My rover 75 tourer
My trusty Rover 75 tourer clocked up 320,000 miles today, What a motor.. no rust and still motoring along gracefully.
I had her rust proofed in 2018 at Crown, in the Midlands and that stuff seems to be working well, all the cills and arches no rust and all my new parts underneath still have the manufactured black paint still on them ( T40 on top) of those new parts. I am now looking back thinking that T40 rust proofing was the right decision now, I will have her topped up again in the summer for £100. I find the car amazing! the oil never goes down, i have never bought a can of oil for it even now on 320,000 miles it goes from one service to the next (15000 miles) it stays on max levels. shes going to EMBO beach inverness-shire in May 2020 another big mileage test, i do feel though the engine is getting better and better not worn out at all, still on the same Turbo, and fuel pump and injectors... fantastic! i wish i could buy another one these brand new Last edited by Olde faithful; 3rd February 2020 at 21:30..
