a 14 seconds is not too bad at all... i'd imagine a 2.5 KV6 running a 100 shot of nitro would be close to 280ish bhp.
A standard R33 GTST would be around the 250bhp mark and clearly got a shocking start.
Either way very embarressing for the R33 (which looked horrendous and deserved to be scrammed by a R75)

Default Estimated bhp from 1/4 mile time is 263

Putting the 1/4 mile time into torque stats and adjusting the bhp till the target kerb weight is about 1470 kg (Parkers figure for a Classic 2.5 manual car) allows us to estimate the bhp at 263.

The NOS is giving a useful bhp increase. I wonder how reliable the engine is.

The stats produced are:

FWD - 182 bhp/ton
Your BHP: 263
Your Target Weight: 1,468 kg
0-60: 6.0
0-100: 14.6
60-100: 8.6
1/4 Mile ET: 14.32
1/4 Mile Terminal: 100
Dragstrip 1/4 Mile ET: 14.02
Dragstrip 1/4 Mile Terminal: 102

As the car probably cost them less than £500, when it blows up (as it will invariably do) just remove the Nitrous kit and re-fit to the next under £500 bargain. Fantastically cheap way of having some fun at the Pod.

That is very tempting as it is a cheap way to race.

I liked this alternative way to improve performance on the drag strip.

Have actually seen this elderly lady race at the Pod. She needs two sticks to walk with by the way.
