The Gryphon Award
To be presented at Beaulieu to the best car as voted by the members. I tried to get a decent picture but its very difficult taking a picture of glass.
Most of us know about Garry and Jayne, for those who don't put in a search for Gryphon or look at this thread. Wherever you look you will find a very brave man and a wonderful wife. http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...hlight=gryphon Jayne will be attending Beaulieu as our guest and will hopefully be presenting the award to the winner |

I wish I was able to be there for a, my first meet and more importantly b, to see this lovely trophy being awarded. I'm sure Garry's wife will be a proud woman when she awards this to the winning member. I am also sure there will be emotions flying all around the place when it is awarded. Well done on an excellent trophy which will mean a great deal to a lot of members out there!

hello everyone
Big hello you lovely lot!!!
Why do you lot make me cry so much??? laughing..... Just been checking out my mans trophy, after a txt from the wonderful Mr Stocktake, chuffed??? I think Garry would have grown at least another foot, he'd be so so proud!! The award is very attractive , the inscription.....perfect....very fitting. The boys & i are looking forward to next weekend, hope the weather is better???? and looking forward to seeing everyone i have and haven't yet met. Keeping the Rover for a while, you'll howl laughing when i tell you what a local garage offered me in part ex, Garry would have been livid to say the least, may need your help on some aspects of Rover maintainance, where do you put the windscreen wash in and where is that bluming catch to pop the bonnet....... HELP.....?? yes typical female, i know!! I know you'll all be happy to advise and help me, your like that ..... lovely... Anyway, as you will know i can waffle, is now a good time to ask if i can do a speech when presenting the award? Promise to keep it short....ish !! BIG THANK YOU to each and everyone of you all for well..... just being there and all your support and loyality to Garry. Its been pretty tough lately without him, im made of very strong stuff but this hes been my worst journey as yet, but Garry made me promise to be strong and to only ... in his words.... let the cancer ruin 1 life, not 2 or worse 4, he said if i promise, and i dont promise easily, he would be comforted knowing if im strong and ok so will the boys be..... what a man and arn't i lucky to call him my husband. He'll stay locked in my heart forever. Much love to you all Jayne, Zac & Karl |
