Ok Folks

I have been a member on the forum for a little while now and thought I would put some pictured up of my car.

My car is a 75 Connoisseur CDT
One previous owner with 86,000 on the clock and was standard when I took hold of it.
I have purchased a few parts from members and have found the forum very helpful for ideas.
A short list of things I have done...........
ZT front and rear bumpers ( fresh respray on both )
18" Hairpins ( own refurb on them )
ZT rear spoiler
ZT rhodium dash panels
Zt steering wheel
ZT door cards and centre console
Kenwood usb head unit
New battery
EGR Bypass
New front and rear plates
The car has the usual dual climate and I have the powerfolds, electric heated seats.
Rear folding split seats with ski flap.

Just as a matter of interest it surprises me how much second hand powerfolds sell for as when this car was new they were £124, I know this as I have the original bill of sale for the car.

I have decided to keep my original suspension setup for a better ride with the 18" and the original seats for their comfort.

I hope you enjoy my post and pictures.

The car is stunning. A nice blend of 75/ZT.

Kev to give the front the ZT look was there anything else you changed, or does changing the bumper do it all ?

Default Bumper

Perfect Kev, thanks for the offer.
I'll start to look for a ZT pre-facelift bumper.

I added a MG front bumper a few months ago, as the MG had a wider skirt panel I found that the original 75 wheel arch liners came up short on the sides and needed to be changed for ZT alternates, this then meant that the back against the sill was too wide as the 75 did not have the wider skirt there so the rear of the liners needed trimming...

Otherwise it's just bolt, plug and play...

oh yes.... you need a ZT bonnet release lever as the 75 one will not go through the mesh grill..

Bonnet release? No need to change that, my 75 one works 100% fine

I must admit i am a bit confused.com as i always thought the 75 preface lift are all the same? it is a grill frame with a mesh insert. When you open the bonnet with the release inside the car and the bonnet pops open slightly you just push your finger in against the locking lever to release completely.

I relly am confused as to what you mean by the mesh?
