Smile Rover 75/04 connie, diesel - wiring

Is the 04 connie wired ready for "cruise" to do a plug in of module and all switches, this is a facelift model?

I would imagine it to be somewhat unlikely. A couple of checks will answer the question quickly,
1, Release the glovebox, and look at the right side of the fuse box area for a miltiplug (Black with a fold over type locking latch) left hanging or taped up to another loom. If there is one there, I would suggest there is the structure of wiring to plug and play.
2, have you had the chance to see what plugs reside behind the centre console bunched up and insulated in a foam bundle, if you find a black one with some others, you should be in luck, if not it may be a full retro fit to carry out as I am doing on mine as time allows.

Good luck.

Rule of thumb, if a car has a message centre PDC electric seats etc it will be wire for cruise.

Normally you would find the cruise master switch wiring wrapped up with other spare connectors behind the panel above the cupholder

From experience all the facelift cars I've dismantled had the loom in place, as Brian said remove the trim above the cup holders, the master switch cable should be there, the ecu/module cable will probably be tied up behind the panel that covers the fuse box.(above and to the right of the fuse box as you look at it) The plug has a white end on it with about 5/6 wires from memory.

Hope that helps mick
