Default The dreaded snapped coil spring

The rear O/S coil spring has snapped , would it be worth renewing both sides or is it ok just to do the one side ?

replace the strut top bearing rings while you are in there, low cost and will make for a quieter ride and less strain on the new springs

I have Sachs on the CDT at the front and rear. They are perfectly fine.

Colour coding only applies to the MGR OEM springs.

Be careful if going to factors for these, most will happily sell you "rover 75/mgzt" springs. Well how do you know which ones the are?
Take some time to ensure you get the right ones. My daughters zt had new factor springs, what I hadn't realized was that some zt's have "comfort" suspension - ie weaker springs and softer shocks. The new springs were notably stiffer.
75 should be a safer bet, but beware.
