Default T4 in North Dorset?

Hi everyone.

I have my MOT coming up and currently have the ABS light on. Am I correct in thinking that someone with a T4 scanner could identify which wheel sensor I need to replace and if so is there a kind hearted soul who could plug my car in and what would this cost?

Many thanks,

Sam.

More likely that you connector under the seat has come apart.

Regarding T4s, F.J. Chalke at Gillingham used to be the MG Rover main dealer and they have one.

Failing that there is a South West club meet this Sunday, where a T4 will be there, (along with Phil ). If you can make that?
See here.

Underseat connector for an ABS fault?

I would suggest a T4 is best, as it may be one of your wheel sensors at fault.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 10 mins and reconnecting to see if it clears the fault?

If you have a late model, one of the cheap OBD readers should give you a fault code if you cannot get access to a T4

A bit early in the morning for me.

Sam,
I see you have a 2001 diesel, so I am not sure if the OBD tool will work, but I have one should you want to try it.
PM me, if I can help.

The best bet would be Sunday, for a T4 check, if you can make it.
There are a couple of us running down from North Dorset, both wanting T4.
