Can you give a Post or Item Number?
depends what the kit includes, sounds like a 16:9 screen.
I think the E46 will work I know the E39 does.

You are getting a lot of kit for your money but,
the radio Unit is normally either BM24 or BM54 the latter of which the connections are not compatible with the Rover System.
I do not know of the BM 53 but that I will check out in next hour.
The Important thing that is missing and so if you bought this nothing would work is the TV tuner Unit which gives the picture for Display of TV, Sat Nav and Radio/CD information etc.
Thats another £300!
It does not say (unless I missed it) if Head Unit is Cassette or CD unit.
To install the 16:9 head Unit you do have to saw/file a couple of bits to fit but that is no problem.

Be back with more Info soon.................

I thought the BM53 was for the monochrome BMW Nav (Lo Line)

I would tread carefully, the buyer is new, been registered nearly 2 months and no feed back.....

his location is UK, he talks about GBP, (most people use £) and he refers to the "trunk"................

There is as said problems with this set up.
Some of the Part numbers don't tie up with the Model Range its meant to fit,
BM 53 isn't listed for that combination as Keith says.
The Loom is an add in to existing wiring so you may have problems there.
No protection on EBay as won't take PayPal.
Warned not to pay by western Union sounds as stated to be in US. no location given for UK unusual.
I would personally leave it and source the bits from a Known secure source where you know they work etc even if it costs a bit more.
The Head Unit by the way was a CD unit, I just missed it, sorry.
Let us know if you do indeed proceed, and I hope he shut it down properly when disconnecting Sat Nav Computer.
Sorry to be Negative, as it may well be genuine but a lot of money to risk.
