I've just been on a saga replacing the boot struts on my ZT-T.
I started ordering a pair at a good price from Latvia and ended up receiving a pair for the tailgate glass.

They have gone in the spares pile.
The second attempt was having the original struts regassed by a local company that specialises in that. They lasted about 3 months before going Pffffft.

Finally, I ordered a pair of Stabilus struts from the UK. Now installed, and they work well. Phew!

Out of interest does anyone have the MGR or Stabilus part number for the tourer boot floor strut? My car came with the strut and mounting bracket missing (boot floor end). I have made up a bracket but not knowing the length and power of the strut it's all but impossible to source one.

I'm glad that you've had ultimate success with the genuine part Rich. Did you buy from the supplier I recommended by any chance?
