I think my next logical step is to swap the 2 front sensors over, I know the RHS one is working as the speedometer works! Watch this space!!

You won't be able to do that physically without destroying them Brian (they are very likely to be seized in the hub). As you have severed the wires to the female connectors you could arrange for the RH sensor to feed the LH channel on the ABS modulator and vice versa.

Thanks for the help so far guys. I only cut the LH wire but I might as well cut the RH one as well and cross the sensors over as you suggest. Much easier than fighting with the hub!!!
