At lunchtime today I received an e-mail from Halfords confirming the cancellation and refund of my order. Then at 5.30 pm the collection branch at last telephones me, saying he is "looking at cases". It's clearly just an administrative chore to them. They have no interest in customer satisfaction or repeat business. It's all the same whether you buy or cancel, Halfords doesn't care.

Thank you for your kind offer Dave but I've just changed my oil and filter anyway, the Halfords order was for next time. Sadly after reimbursing you for the postage I'd be spending more than Euro Car Parts price of £6.09 which I can collect free of charge. Thanks again for the offer though.

Crosland Filtration was based in Nottingham, UK. Long closed down the entire factory lay closed for a considerable time, they now manufacture in India i believe, the original filters were excellent quality.
