Default Passed MOT Today!

My beloved failed her MOT initially on one point: a 'reduced reflective' front number plate! Halfords fitted this plate for me about fifteen years ago, and apparently used black double sided tape. This gradually leeched through the reflective layer, causing the problem. I asked the MOT garage to fit a new plate, and earned a pass. Apart from a couple of minor advisories on the tyres, that's not bad for a twenty three year old car! 😊

Nice one.

What was the problem with the tyres, wear or cracking?

Thanks!
The mechanic who does the pre MOT check said the tyres were fine and was surprised the tester made any comments. They have to be thorough, of course!,. A couple are getting a bit worn, and will be changed soon. None of them have been on for more than three years.
