In your dreams I thought.
I've had a looksee about and come to the conclusion I could do it meself.
If I get a exhaust pipe cutting tool like them mole grips with a chain and cutting wheels, then if I jack the car high enough it should be achievable.
What do members think?
After it's done the pipe cutters could go back on Ebay.
Next problem is sussing out a back box for a diesel tourer that fits
Again any suggestions will be gratefully received
If any members have done this to there car please comment on how it went and any suggestions to make it easier.
The price is relative. I’m having a back box and pipe fitted on my tourer today costing £200. This is with a small local garage and I can afford it so willing to pay. The car’s original exhaust lasted 15 years and the replacement back box (which I’m now having replaced) has lasted just 4 years and a little under 14,000 miles. I’ve also got a box on back order from DMGRS but can’t wait for its arrival unfortunately.
